Hey, I'm Taytay (atflux)

I'm a creative and technical professional based in the United Kingdom. I approach life wherever possible in the flow — that state where time dissolves and the work becomes the reward. It's the thread connecting everything I do, from spinning poi at night, shooting stills, to building agentic systems.

atflux is the umbrella for my creative and professional offerings. The name captures what drives everything: being at flux — in a state of adapting creative and technical flow.

What I Do

Technology and Consultancy

The day-job muscle is senior engineering and AI consultancy: TypeScript and Python on the surface, stranger stacks underneath when a migration demands it. Agents and automation when they replace toil instead of adding theatre, often used as a multiplier. Sites default to Astro and Cloudflare when the static content is the product.

Photography & Videography

Camera work skews toward people: controlled colour, blunt monochrome, frames that feel stolen from a film you cannot quite name. Motion is captured with OpenGate-friendly habits so one roll can feed both a widescreen cut and a vertical trim for mobile — LUT looks on capture so the grade survives the walk from set to feed.

Flow arts — particularly poi — are my moving meditation. I also work with acrylics, fine liners, and UV-reactive media. Each piece carries both visible and hidden layers. Art is where the creative process feels most honest.
